The 2024 Youth SDG Summit is themed Building Resilience: From Beneficiaries to SDG Champions, emporing youths to be active contributors to living sustainable lifesyles and localising SDGs.
The Malaysian Youth SDG Summit is the recipient of the 100 Excellence Award for Global Youth Development in 2023, giving an avenue for youths in Malaysia to be inspired by industry peers in the localisation of the UN SDGs. We uphold a bottom up approach in building youth capacity to turn passion into reality.
The Summit includes pleanary sessions, special interventions, SDG labs, engaging SDG booths and energisers. The initiative has highlighted the inclusivity of 4 key groups. This includes the youth demographic, the disabled community, the orang asli community, the refugee and statless community in Malaysia.
