01. SDG Accelerator

The Malaysian Youth SDG Agent community builders have undertaken a total of 6 projects from 2022-2023 as a challenge to champion the SDGs relevant to the issues of the local communities. Partnership inspired by passion was key in the movements. The team acknowledges the stakeholders that has supported the agents in their success story. With the support of Selangor Youth Community that co-funded the 23/24 projects of the youths, the teams have reached heights to advocate their sustainable practices across Malaysia.

02. Campus Ambassadors

The campus ambassadors initiative aims to create inter-university collaboration and support to effectively localise the SDGs in Malaysia. recognising that universities and education learning centres play a significant role in developing and advocating for the UN SDGs. The initiative brings together institutions (private and public) in Klang Valley to expose student leaders to the SDGs and learn tactics and effective ways of the younger generation to advocate the SDGs via social media.

03. Young Politicians SDG Workshop

The Young Politicians SDG Workshop, organized by MySDG Academy and APPGM SDG, aims to enhance awareness regarding the integration of SDGs into the political sphere. It offers training and capacity building for politically engaged youth, aiming to facilitate networking and knowledge enhancement concerning SDGs within national contexts, particularly focusing on SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Governance and SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals.

04. Young Politicians SDG Workshop

The youth development department continues engagement in documenting the processes and development of the youth work at APPGM-SDG and MySDG Academy toward localising the UN SDGs. A bottom-up approach is deployed to practice for impact. The department documents its progress through publication, research, and impact reports.
